Both airports have regular scheduled flights to and from all main European destinations as well as major world cities&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ana.pt\/en-US\/Pages\/Homepage.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[see&nbsp;more&#8230;]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Train<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From Lisbon to Aveiro:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are comfortable trains arriving hourly from the&nbsp;<em>Lisboa-Oriente<\/em>&nbsp;station (you can arrive there from the airport by metro, bus or taxi) to&nbsp;<em>Aveiro<\/em> The journey takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cp.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\">[see&nbsp;more&#8230;]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisbon Airport &#8211;metro\/bus\/taxi&#8211;&gt; Lisboa Oriente &#8211;train&#8211;&gt; Aveiro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>From Porto to Aveiro:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are comfortable trains arriving hourly from&nbsp;<em>Porto-Campanh\u00e3<\/em>&nbsp;station (you can get there from the airport by bus, taxi or metro &#8211; use the direct violet metro line from the&nbsp;<em>Airport of Porto<\/em>) to&nbsp;<em>Aveiro<\/em>. The journey takes about 1 hour&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cp.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[see&nbsp;more&#8230;]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Porto Airport &#8211;metro\/bus\/taxi&#8211;&gt; Porto-Campanh\u00e3 &#8211;train&#8211;&gt; Aveiro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Bus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are express buses arriving every hour both from Lisbon and Porto&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rede-expressos.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">[see&nbsp;more&#8230;]<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flixbus.pt\/\">FlixBus<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Car<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main motorways passing through Aveiro are: highway A1, A29, A25. After arrival, search for directions indicating &#8220;Universidade&#8221;. These will drive you into the main university campus.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.viamichelin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">[see&nbsp;more&#8230;]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visa Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portugal is in the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/dgs\/home-affairs\/what-we-do\/policies\/borders-and-visas\/schengen\/\" target=\"_blank\">Schengen&nbsp;area<\/a>, some foreigners need an entry visa.&nbsp; If you do need it, please make sure you apply for it well in advance before your departure.&nbsp; In the Schengen area you may travel freely between member countries.
